We were hired by the owners to finish a deck that was started by another builder. The other builder did not obtain the required permits or inspections. They also did not set the supporting poles below the frost line which would have resulted in the deck sagging and rising down the road, and they had the deck covering the water well, a big mistake! We came in, obtained permits and inspections up front then tore out over half of what was there and rebuilt it to code.
