We were hired by the homeowner to "fix the floors". The floors in the home had been patched several times over the past years resulting in 2"-3" of build up, uneven floors and soft spots in the floor. We removed all the floor sheathing down to the original floor joist, we then straightened the floor joist by adding 2x6's. Once the floor joist were leveled/strengthened we put down 3/4" sheathing and then finished it off with pre-finished oak flooring and new oak trim. We also straightened on wall in the house.
